About
Marlynna believes that each of us holds within ourselves the strength, wisdom, and courage needed to create meaningful change. When life’s pressures leave us feeling burnt out, stuck, or disconnected, having a safe space to pause and reflect can be a powerful first step toward healing.
Drawing from her experiences living and working across Australia, Türkiye, and Singapore, Marlynna brings a culturally sensitive and open perspective to her practice. Her journey through different countries, careers, and professional transitions has deepened her understanding of the challenges and growth that accompany change.
As a mother of three, including a neurodivergent child with ADHD, she understands the emotional demands of caregiving and the realities of parenting. Her experience navigating an intercultural marriage and family life has further enriched her empathy and insight, allowing her to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances.
Experience
Marlynna is currently completing her Master of Counselling with Monash University. Before transitioning to a career in counselling, she was in marketing and events, and spent over a decade running a technology company. She holds a Bachelor of Marketing and a Master of Accounting and brings with her a wealth of experience in communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal dynamics, skills that now enrich her counselling practice. Outside her practice, Marlynna volunteers at Pertapis Centre for Women and Girls, where she supports adolescent girls navigating emotional, relational, and social challenges.
